Final Words
The Orange Pi 5 Ultra comes packed with an impressive array of features and a variety of useful interfaces that surpass the Raspberry Pi 5 board, plus it supports OpenWrt, which allows you to potentially configure the board as a mini access point or even a mesh networking device for extending your connectivity options.
While Orange Pi’s software support may not be as comprehensive as that of the Raspberry Pi, it excels in running between one to five operating systems seamlessly. Furthermore, it operates effectively as a mid-range mini-PC on Linux. Ultimately, without testing every possible aspect of the board, we are confident that this product is a worthwhile buy.
Orange Pi needs to stop this nonsense. ANOTHER board?? Nobody can keep up with software – Armbian isn’t even supporting the Max.
You don’t have to use Armbian, although it offers long-term support. The Orange Pi Ubuntu image works well, and I’m sure that a DietPi image will be available soon.
Well, there is a factory and employees, so people need continuous work all the time.
