The Poco F6 Pro runs on HyperOS, built on top of Android 14. As usual, Xiaomi keep it clean without too much bloat (Ads) that you can also disable manually.

Bundled software and games
Loaded with a diverse range of pre-installed applications such as Netflix, Spotify, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Spotify, Fitbit, LinkedIn including a fantastic array of games, which can be easily uninstalled if not needed. While these applications can undoubtedly be advantageous for certain users, it’s crucial to acknowledge that they may take up substantial storage space and impact the overall performance of the device, so most of them can be removed.

Storage space: How much space is available?
In this review, we thoroughly analyzed the 16 GB RAM / 1TB variant. Upon examining the device’s system information, we discovered intriguing insights: approximately 388 MB has been allocated for apps, while an impressive 17.16 GB has been used for system files. This leaves users with a generous 0.9TB of available space.
Memory usage: How much RAM is available?
Xiaomi has made great progress in optimizing HyperOS, but it still consumes a significant amount of system resources. As a result, users are left with only about 52% of the initial 16GB RAM, which is approximately ~8.1 GB.

What is the playback resolution for Netflix?
Users will be delighted to learn that both the Poco F6 Pro and the likely basic model come equipped with Widevine Level 1 certification, offering support for Full HD (1080P) playback on Netflix.
