Furthermore, the 64-megapixel lens provides the freedom to crop and zoom without sacrificing quality, giving you unparalleled flexibility in composing and framing your shots.
Apart from the impressive 64-megapixel main lens, the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel 118˚ ultra-wide lens that redefines the possibilities of photography. By providing a wider field of view, this lens empowers users to capture vast landscapes, group pictures, and architectural wonders, infusing images with a sense of grandeur and scale. Front Camera
The phone’s front camera stands out for its impressive 16MP high-resolution sensor. It is equipped with a range of useful features such as HDR, Pan shutter, Voice shutter, Assist Cam, Time burst, Timer, Gridlines, Aspect ratio, and Flash with video recording, enabling you to capture high-quality videos at 1080@60FPS.
Rear Camera
In addition to the features found in the front face camera, the rear camera offers advanced functionalities including AI camera capabilities, macro mode, watermarking, and tilt-shift effects. Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced Steady Video, an image stabilization feature that enhances the quality of recorded videos. This remarkable feature only works when recording video in 1080P. Finally, when capturing videos, you have the ability to reach an exceptional maximum resolution of 4K@30fps.
Rear Camera Settings
Night mode
It is typically activated automatically in low-light settings. While it generally performs adequately, it may not always deliver consistent results. Overall, the video recording capabilities of the Xiaomi phone are above decent, especially with the inclusion of features like Steady Video and Night Mode. However, users should be aware of potential limitations in certain lighting conditions.
Pro mode
Lets you configure every aspect of the camera, such as exposure, white balance, ISO levels, wide and ultra-wide photography, manual focus, including different color filters to enhance the shots.
Zoom levels
By utilizing an optical zoom range from x0.6 to x2, you have the freedom to conveniently zoom in or out on objects. However, venturing beyond the x2 range leads into the digital realm, where image sharpness diminishes, and grainy pixels become increasingly noticeable.
Test No.1: Zoom range x0.6, x1, x2, x4.
Test No.2: Zoom range x0.6, x1, x2, x4.
Test No.3: Zoom range x0.6, x1, x2, x4, x10.

Indoor photography
The X6 advanced image processing technology effectively reduces noise in semi-low-light environments, resulting in high-quality images. Although the camera performs above average, it’s important to remember that this mid-range device doesn’t have a top-of-the-line camera array. The unique lighting conditions of each environment can significantly affect the quality of the shots.
Macro Photography
The 2 MP sensor performed reasonably well in capturing macro shots, producing photos of decent quality. While some images turned out to be grainy, others were less so. It is likely that Xiaomi will need to adjust the camera and release some improvements.

Poco X6 Video Recording
The 64MP rear camera of the X6 features optical stabilization, ensuring crisp and stable images in various conditions. This is particularly advantageous for capturing clear shots while walking on uneven outdoor terrain or when mounting the phone on a bike.
The main rear camera allows you to capture video at an impressive 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. However, if you don’t typically require such high resolution and the extra storage space it demands, you may also find the 1080P resolution at 60 frames per second to be perfectly suitable.
