The Youyeetoo team offers a combo Wi-Fi 6 / BT module, equipped with the powerful Realtek RTL88.52BE chip. Priced at just $15, this module is compatible with both ARM and X86 boards, ensuring seamless integration. What sets it apart is the outstanding Linux support provided by the Mediatek-based modules, giving you an undeniable advantage. To top it off, the X1 also features a reliable gigabyte Ethernet port that delivers fast throughput speeds, and we managed to reach our maximum bandwidth provided by our ISP.

During the installation process of the most recent Ubuntu update, the RTL8852BE card is instantly detected by the system. Nevertheless, we faced a slight setback related to card recognition while utilizing Linux Mint with kernel 5.15.x. We quickly fixed this problem by upgrading to the latest kernel version 6.xx.

To resolve the issue of the Realtek module card not being recognized on Linux, you will have to connect your X1 board using an Ethernet cable and then run the specified commands.

sudo apt update
sudo apt install linux-oem-22.04
