Metal Case (Optional)
The team at youyeetoo has developed an essential yet optional accessory: a well-designed, segmented sheet metal case. Each part of the case is reinforced and assembled with Philips type screws, allowing for easy access to GPIO interfaces without having to open the upper cover.
While passive cooling solution is not yet available, the active cooling solution, consisting of a large heatsink and a fan, effectively covers most of the X1 board components. Despite this, the fan is remarkably quiet when operating installed inside the case.
Furthermore, for users who are not accustomed to utilizing the extensive interfaces offered with the board for development purposes, the company has included a metal stripe along with the case. This stripe serves to securely close and protect the GPIO case cuts, ensuring its completely closed and well protection.
