Charging
Xiaomi has thoughtfully included a USB charger with a classic magnetic base, an item commonly included with most smartwatches. For a power adapter, a 5V 2A type will work fine too. Having said that, we have conducted a successful test in which we were able to charge the watch completely, going from a mere 4% battery to a full 100%, utilizing the USB hub of our Desktop PC.
The watch battery was completely charged in just 1 hour and 16 minutes. For optimal results, it is recommended trying to use a Qualcomm fast charger. Additionally, Xiaomi claims that there is a wireless charging option available, although we have not had the opportunity to delve into this feature yet.
How long does the battery last?
Wear OS by Google is infamous for its excessive power consumption. As a user, you can maximize your battery life by utilizing the automatic brightness feature and enabling the Raise to Wake function. With regular use and push notifications turned on, you can relish in the convenience of your device lasting up to two full days on a single charge. Is Xiaomi planning to further optimize the watch firmware in order to enhance battery performance? The answer is probably yes.
How does it compare to the Galaxy Watch6 Classic?
With the Always-On Display disabled, Samsung’s watch6 claims an impressive battery life of up to 30–40 hours on a single charge. Compared to the Watch 2 Pro, this device offers a slightly improved battery life. It’s worth noting, though, that this aspect is not a fixed value and can vary based on individual usage habits. If you frequently participate in intense activities and utilize the GPS feature, you can expect a full day of usage from it.
Does it really supports ECG?
No ECG is available yet, but the heart rate measurement is very precise. I think they will
Implement this option in the future.
